In 2003, Ranjani was bestowed the titled of Yogacharya in recognition of her dedication to yoga and her remarkable ability to transmit its teachings.   After receiving the blessings and instruction to teach yoga from Sri Swami Satchidananda in 1998, Ranjani Powers renounced her successful career and embarked on her yoga teaching vocation.   Ever since that auspicious moment, she has trained and inspired many yoga teachers and taught over 5,000 classes all over the United States of America and abroad.

Leon Lim Born and raised in Singapore, Leon Lim grew up in a Buddhist-Taoist family, surrounded by Hindu, Muslim, and Christian friends and neighbors.   This setting ignited his interest in comparative religion and various systems of Eastern philosophy and culture.   His interest in Eastern philosophy led him to study the Yoga Sutra, Bhagavad Gita, the principal Upanishads, the six systems of Vedic Philosophy, as well as Buddhist, Zen and Taoist texts in college.

As a child, Leon was usually drawn to the mysterious and the occult and has been pursuing mystical experiences through fasting, ritual, Nada, mantra japa, mind control, and other consciousness altering techniques since he was 11.   Since then, Leon has been initiated in various spiritual traditions including Kriya Yoga, Mantra Yoga, and Samaya Tantra.   Leon has been teaching and guiding seekers in yoga since 1998. However, he is the eternal student and continues to study Ayurveda, Sanskrit, Tantric and Vedic philosophy as well as yogasana with Ranjani Powers.   Someday, he hopes to own a pet buzzard.
